Classic Entourage Magazine: Can you tell us a bit more about your journey in music and how you developed your passion for it, especially considering your experience of playing various instruments and participating in bands?
GH No Beat: Since I was a child I always had a passion for music, and my parents always encouraged me to learn instruments and I started playing drums in church. I was interested in learning other instruments, I participated in the Police band and participated in other bands as well which helped me to study music and until I got to the point where I wanted to learn to produce music and be a DJ.
CE Mag: How has your experience of living in different places around the world influenced your approach to music and your compositions?
GH: I think this influenced not to be tied to just one musical style or segment, in Brazil funk is a very strong movement, but in other countries trap, rap and electronic music are the strongest strand. This made me create interest in wanting to know what the public likes to listen to in each place.
CE Mag: Your vignette “GH NO BEAT ME DEIXA LOUCA” It has a unique style. Can you share more about the inspiration behind this particular piece and how it reflects your personal experiences?
GH: Actually, this vignette I asked a friend to record an audio saying this, and I edited the voice and used it in a song, and my friends liked it and started talking jokingly ‘GH NO BEAT ME DEIXA LOUCA’ And it turned out that I left it like that hahaha.
CE Mag: With your home studio, you produce and record your tracks. Could you take us through your creative process when developing a new piece of music?
GH: All my songs I did freestyle, I really like to turn on the mic and try different things listening to the beat, then I put the music together according to the vibe I feel from the beat.

CE Mag: Your EP “EMINENTE” gained attention. What was the inspiration behind the lead track, “EMINENTE,” and how does it represent the overall theme of the EP?
GH: The ‘EP EMINENTE’ was my first studio album singing trap, it was my first experience in this musical style, I tried to do my best with the conditions and equipment I had at the time, and I think that made me want to improve myself and get to know this area of trap more deeply.

CE Mag: The collaboration with Mc Pedrinho in “UAU” and the video recorded in Boston for “VOANDO ALTO” seem like exciting projects. How was the experience of working on these collaborations and how did the location influence the look?
GH: Mc Pedrinho was one of the guys I always admired in funk and being able to make this connection with him I think opened my mind and my knowledge a lot, it was my first feat with a great artist. The Flying High video was also an amazing experience to make a video of that level even without high level equipment!!
CE Mag: The video de “FOGO” it was filmed at the Sea Port in Boston. How do you approach incorporating visuals into your music and how important is the visual aspect to convey the message of your songs?
GH: In my opinion the clip adds 50% of the promotion and marketing of the song, you create a visual identity and convey the most complete message and emotion watching the video and listening to the music, so I think clips are very important for artists, it has to be one of the main investments of those who are starting.
CE Mag: The video for “FESTA PRIVÊ” was released with the NaGringa Samba Group. How did this collaboration come about and how does teamwork impact your creative process?
GH: I’ve always been very good friends with the members of Grupo NaGringa, so we had this idea when we were doing an event together to create this song to embrace two different audiences, it’s a little different to write Pagode for me but it was a great experience.
CE Mag: Congratulations on your first studio album, BTTF “Back to the Future”! What was the inspiration behind the title and how does the album represent your evolution as an artist?
GH: This album for me was a very big advance in terms of composition, production and mixing of my songs and the vibe that I wanted to convey on the album, I worked on it together with my mixing engineer Batata Beats and that’s how BTTF was born.
CE Mag: What can your fans expect from you in the coming months or years? Are there any exciting projects or collaborations on the horizon?
GH: I’m always trying to innovate and bring new things and always evolve the musicality, for this year I have an EP and other sounds that I want to release as well, and some international feats between trap and reggaeton.
